SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Kyle Sasaki is a registered landscape architect and LEED accredited professional with more than 20 years of experience with a varied background working on parks, schools, housing, corporate campuses, resorts, golf courses, retail, zoological exhibits, light rail stations, wetland restoration, military facilities, transportation corridors, mixed use development, and urban design.
In Seattle, Kyle worked for Nakano Associates and AECOM (formerly EDAW) for eleven years. Kyle returned home in 2008 to work for Ki Concepts and brings sustainable design experience from working in the Northwest and has an interest in incorporating native plants into planting designs. Kyle served as a general member and treasurer of the Seattle Japanese Garden Advisory Council. Since returning to Hawai’i he has been an active member on the Executive Committee for the local chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and served as president in 2013.
Kyle’s creative energy outside the office is directed to craft projects, t-shirt designs, cooking, and growing vegetables for his cooking adventures. To work off those calories, Kyle also likes to run and has finished a couple of marathons.
